Delivery
Ellis Direct has one of the largest range of products available to buy online. This gives you the choice of products you deserve and not just a range of selected products that we can fit in our warehouse. Our company currently lists over 140,000 quality products from the major manufacturers and leading brands in the UK.
95% of despatches are from our own warehouse and our computers link directly to our supplier to ensure rapid movement of stock.
We have a great relationship with our supplier base with special agreements set up to ensure swift delivery in to our warehouse.
So if its not on our shelves (Theres a great possibility as we hold about 20000 products in stock) we can usually have items to us within 1-2 days.
Delivery Options
All orders placed for stock items before 7.30pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day. Spend £100 (excl VAT) and get your order delivered FREE. If you spend less than �100 a small carriage charge of �5.95 will be applied.

What courier companies do ELLIS DIRECT use?
The most appropriate courier will be chosen dependant on your order, the time we despatched and courier availability in your area. Asos will use one of the following carriers, but can not specify which one prior to dispatch: Royal Mail, Home Delivery Network (HDN), Parcelforce, DHL, Interlink(DPD), TNT. ANC and Fastway.
Standard Delivery
Delivered within three working days:
- Your orders will be sent out via the most suitable carrier, depending on size and weight
- A signature may be required on receipt
- If you are not around to take delivery of your parcel, the carrier will leave a calling card telling you how you can pick it up
- Please note that it is not possible for you to collect your order in person from our distribution centre
- Unfortunately we can not deliver on a bank holiday. In this instance please expect your delivery on the next working day
- In the event of a Royal Mail strike, we will switch our deliveries to other carriers to avoid delays to your delivery
Next Day Delivery
Available Monday to Friday, except bank holidays:
- From Monday to Friday, orders must be placed by 4pm to ensure delivery the next day
- Orders placed on a Friday will be delivered on Monday
- Next Day Delivery orders placed on Saturday will be delivered on Tuesday, except bank holidays (UK Only). If you order on a Sunday, your order will be delivered the following Tuesday.
- Unfortunately we can not deliver on a bank holiday. In this instance please expect your delivery on the next working day
- Our carrier will deliver your parcel between 7am and 7pm. Unfortunately we cannot give you a more specific delivery time than this
- A signature may be required on receipt.
- Next Day Delivery is not available to the following postcodes: AB31, AB33 - 38, AB44, AB45, AB51-56, BT, GY, HS1-9, IM, IV1-56, JE, KA27-28, KW1-17, PA20-78, PH19-50, TR21-25, ZE1-3
- If you are not around to accept your parcel, the carrier may leave it with a neighbour, or in a safe place (i.e. hidden from sight and protected from the rain) if they think it is safe to do so. A calling card will be posted through your door to let you know this has been done
- If the parcel can't be left in a safe place or with a neighbour, the carrier will take it back to the local depot, and leave you a card telling you how you can pick it up
Failed Delivery Attempts
Our carriers will usually try to make three attempts to deliver. If they are unsuccessful on the first attempt they will leave a card and contact number for you to re-arrange delivery. If after three attempts there is no-one to accept delivery, the package will be returned to us.
Late Delivery
If you do not receive your goods after 3 working days and you are in the UK please contact us by clicking HERE. Give us the order number included in the e-mail you received when you ordered the goods. We will strive to resolve the issue immediately.
Alternative delivery address
We are sorry but we can only deliver products to the billing address, if this is a problem please contact customer care.
Delivery restrictions
Next day delivery is not available for Northern Ireland, remote areas and The Scottish Highlands & Islands
Do I have to pay customs and import charges?
Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.
Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.
Do you deliver to PO Box addresses?
Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.
Unfortunately, we can't to ship to PO Box addresses for security reasons.
Do you deliver to hotels?
Unfortunately, we can only deliver to a hotel if it is your permanent residence, or your place of employment.
Product availability
Our aim is to ensure that you receive your items as quickly as possible. If your shopping basket includes items with different availability dates then we may send them as they become available. This means that you may receive items at different times. Your card will be charged as each item is dispatched. You will only be charged delivery once.
Snickers Workwear Important Delivery Information
As our Snickers stock is shipped directly from Sweden to us, We can now only supply Snickers items that are in stock at our own warehouse within our standard timescales. Please check stock prior to placing an order.
If a Snickers Item has to be ordered in please allow 7 to 14 days for delivery, We will try our utmost to reduce this but please bear in mind when placing an order.
